A reunion 4 years in the making

This month my sister, brother-in-law and sweet little nephew came for a two week trip to Virginia. That meant for the first time in 4 years all of us siblings and mom were finally in the same state! My family is a bit spread out from here in Virginia, California and then all the way to good ol' Texas! Thankfully we have Skype to keep us connected.  Things get interesting when my adorable nephew is involved. Picture evidence provided :p

And of course what would would a vacation be with out a little sight seeing right? Somehow I managed to become the driver on the day that we went to the National Zoo in DC, and when we went to see the air and space museum.  Needless to say the stress of the weekend DC traffic nearly made me pull my hair out! Aside from that we had adventures at the Smithsonian Museums Air and Space (Dulles) and Natural History, the National Zoo and Mt. Vernon

As you can tell, many pictures were taken.  Selfies too :) We got to spend two glorious weeks together.  Not everyday was spent sight seeing and running around, thankfully.  We had enough time to relax, sit around play games and go to the beach.

This was this little boys first time at the beach and if you couldn't tell he loved it! So much so he wanted to taste the sand too. That kid will eat anything!  We went to the beach several times and the pool quite a few times and little Mason took to the water like a fish.

And what family vacation would be complete without a family photoshoot, right?

All of us finally together in one picture, and I really cannot figure out how I got the short gene out of all of my family.

All of my siblings, and I really am the oldest, my brother is the youngest and of course he is the tallest!

We are so blessed to get to call this wonderful Godly woman our mother! These images mean so much to me to get to take and to be apart of.  This wonderful family of mine is one of the main reasons why I got started on my path to photography.  All of them no matter what, have always supported my dreams and pushed me to grow in my skill.  I love all these wonderful people more than words can describe!
