Christmas Is Almost here!

Christmas is almost here! This is my favorite time of the year!  I love everything about it, but the things that I enjoy the most are the decorations, music and time with the fellowship.  Every year my husband and I have the tradition of going and picking out an ornament for the year. This is this years ornaments (we got two). Guess who picked which one.

This year was amazing because we just bought our new home this year, and I finally had enough space to put out all my christmas decorations, and some new ones!   I was particulary proud of this Grinch yard decor. I bought a jig saw, drew and painted it!  This is one of the few decorations my husband does not roll his eyes at.

But the main reason I love this season, is that it is a time for me to give thanks and meditate on the true reason for the season, the birth of my Lord and Savior! I hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.
