It has been over a year since I got to sit down with Hannah and Nick and see the video of Nick proposing to Hannah, on the beach in Barbados! I have been looking forward to their engagement session ever since then! I love everyone of my sessions, but I have to say I have not been able to stop smiling and thinking about Hannah and Nick’s engagement session!

We had an absolutely breathtaking backdrop for the photos! Nick’s grandparents graciously let us use their beautiful waterfront home in Yorktown. My mouth dropped when I pulled up to the house and saw the beautiful flower beds, gorgeous big magnolia trees shading the yard, and the water behind the house framing everything in perfectly! And then I got Hannah and Nick and their fur babies, Jax and Lucy, in front of the camera and the fun began!

I think one of the most special parts of my job, is the wonderful people I get to meet and the friendships that are formed! This really hit home for me during Hannah and Nick’s session, when I was invited to stay for a delicious dinner by Nick’s grandparents, and all of us got to talk, laugh and enjoy each others company! I left this beautiful spring engagement session, feeling so blessed!

Hannah and Nick, you both looked absolutely stunning in every frame. I was already so excited for your wedding, but this put it over the top for me. The next time we see each other, Hannah, you’ll be in a white dress and Nick will be nervous to see you for the first time, and I can’t wait.
