When Lauren and I were planning on where to do their engagement session, Lauren had the perfect place already in mind.  An engagement session with an extra special meaning.

As we made our way through the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts we came to a picture on the wall. This picture has a very special meaning to both Lauren and Greg. Greg actually proposed to Lauren in front of this painting! There’s nothing more special for me than getting to capture photos that are meaningful to my couple’s!

It doesn’t take more than a few minutes with Lauren and Greg to see they are the perfect match for each other . After hearing the proposal story, it felt like nothing but a privilege to get to be the ones to capture their love. I spent the entire session laughing with them like I had known them for years, and with every click of the shutter, I felt more and more lucky to be the one who gets to photograph their wedding day, and capture the beginning of their next chapter. The perfect continuation of a beautiful legacy of love.
